The Gilbert Library

Welcome to!

we are very excited to offer this new way of connecting Northfield with its neighborhood library and its community. Here you can find where we are located, when we are open, our history, new books, how to contact us, upcoming events and more.

We will add links that will connect you to area happenings and things of interest.

Stop in and see us!

Library Reopening / Regular Hours
The library will open with our regular hours starting after Labor Day, Monday 6th. We will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-7 pm. We are still requiring face coverings at this time. The computer and children’s crafts and toys are not available yet. We expect to be able to have more available as well as library programs in the coming months.

“Tea at Three”
Come and join your neighbors for a cup of tea at the library on the first Wednesday of each month at 3 pm. We’ll have tea, cookies and conversation. Come alone or bring a friend! Fall dates are Wednesdays, Sept 1st, Oct 6th and Nov 3rd.
