Gilbert Library Curbside Pickup Available Beginning June 1st

We will be taking orders for curbside pickup starting Monday, June 1st.

We are excited to start this first phase of reopening and will continue to work towards being completely open to the public as the CT Library Association recommends. Thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.

Beginning Monday, June 1st, you may call the library at 860-283-8176 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 2-5 pm to request books, magazines and DVDs. We will limit requests to Northfield/Litchfield patrons with a valid library card at this time. The materials that you request will be put into a bag with your name and placed on a table in front of the door for you to pick up at the time you have scheduled.

Items can be returned in the Book Drop.

Materials will be sanitized and/or quarantined for 3 days before handling and checking them in.

We look forward to the start of reopening the library with things getting back to normal on the distant horizon. We will follow the CT Library Association and CDC guidelines and hope to have limited access to the library in the near future. Programs and social gatherings will be the in last phase of our reopening.
