"Sound of Nature's Music" White Memorial Program
The White Memorial Conservation Center is set to visit the library on Monday, October 29th from 4-5pm. Carrie Szwed, the Education Director at White Memorial will present "Sounds of Nature's Music." Identifying animals by sound is a great way to get to know the creatures that call Connecticut home. Audiences will learn just "who-who-whoooo" is making those common noises we hear in nature. Shakespeare, a live barred owl, will make an appearance too! This program is funded by a grant from Civic Family Services. For more information call or email the library.
The library still has Northfield T-shirts for sale during regular library hours. The 100% cotton shirts sell for $15 and come in Adult sizes Small, Medium, Large and X-Large 9with a few XXX-Large available) and Youth sizes Small, Medium and Large. The sale of the shirts will support ongoing community activities.
